History of the English Language
Saturday, November 5, 1-4 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Learning Center

History of the English Language presents the therapist or teacher with the exciting historical backdrop, much like today’s Hollywood epic blockbuster movies, from which our English words were created. The workshop participants will discover the reliable patterns of English word etymology and how teaching etymology can positively impact the students’ performance in word-attack, spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension. Perry D. Stokes, CALT will present the workshop. Perry is a 2nd and 3rd Grade Classroom Teacher.

The cost for the workshop is $20. Attendees will receive 3 contact hours for the session.
